His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa took part in the 13th GCC Supreme Council’s consultative meeting which kick-started at the Conference Palace in Al Dariya, Saudi Arabia.
In a statement given on arrival in Saudi Arabia, HM the King described the meeting as a great opportunity to review the GCC joint work on the path of integration and unity.
He hailed the GCC substantial achievements since the inception of the council thirty years ago expressing keenness to take more steps towards economic unity.
“This will enable us to hold together in front of political, security and economic challenges, protect our countries’ security, stability and achievements and defend the interests of our peoples,” HM King Hamad said.
