Education Minister Dr Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi has today met officials representing the British Tribal; an institution specialized in providing world-leading products that support the delivery of education services. Bahrain University President Dr. Ibrahim Janahi has also attended.
The British-based world renowned firm is also specialized in providing innovative programmes to promote educational and training establishments.
The range of innovative services also includes the rehabilitation and school and university students to better adapt to cultural and social diversity. It also devises schemes and specialized workshops to promote the values of citizenship, tolerance, respect of others’ opinions and address the psychological trauma resulting from acts of violence and vandalism.
The two sides have agreed to set up a work team in charge of diagnosing the traumatic impact of the acts of violence and incitement on students. The plan aims at containing any pitfalls which may be detrimental to the values of co-existence, school and academic results. The acts of violence and incitement which gripped schools as well as Bahrain University have prompted the ministry to embark on the therapeutic programme.
The recent regrettable incidents have left a deep divide in the school and unity community. The two sides have also discussed exploring viable solutions to address the negative pitfalls of the deplorable incidents on educational establishments across the Kingdom of Bahrain. The British-based institution has carried out similar programmes for at 300 educational establishments in the UK, Turkey, Croatia, Kosovo and Bosnia Herzegovina.
