The Kingdom has succeeded in keeping the employment rate stable and secure, said the Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan.
Commenting on the Ministry of Labour’s new quarterly report on employment covering the months of January, February and March, Humaidan asserted that the good indices reflect the fruitful efforts exerted by the ministry in the fields of employment, training and insurance against unemployment.
The report indicated that 10,519 new jobs have opened up in Bahrain since the beginning of 2011.
It also stated that the average employment rate over the past three months sat at 3.7 percent and there were more than 5,347 jobseekers reported.
The minister pointed out that the Kingdom has recovered from the recent crisis that gripped it recently, thanks to the sound policies and wisdom of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and the Economic Development Board Chairman.
