HRH Premier’s Advisor for Economic Affairs Abdulla Hassan Saif on Tuesday said that the Kingdom of Bahrain would explore the various avenues of co-operation with Kazakhstan in the Banking and Finance sector.
Saif, who is representing the Kingdom at the three-days 7th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) kicked off on Tuesday under the theme of ” Global economic development: relationship, competition, partnership, also highlighted the excellent ties enjoy by both sides.
WIEF is attended by the Kazakh Premier Karim Massimov, Middle East and Islamic World leaders, as well as over 2000 key businessmen from all over the world.
On the sidelines of the forum, HRH Premier’s Advisor met with the Kazakh Deputy Premier and Industry and New Technology Minister Aset Isekeshev, in the presence of the Kazakh Finance Minister and representatives of Kazakh economic institutions, and discussed with him ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation at all levels, especially economic and Islamic banking ones.
Abdulla Hassan Seif said that the Kingdom was looking forward to enhancing its cooperation and exchanging expertise with friendly Kazakhstan, calling upon the businessmen of the two countries to take advantage of the economic and investment opportunities provided by them.
The Kazakh Deputy Premier lauded the progress and development the kingdom is witnessing at all levels, expressing his country’s keen desire to strengthen ties with Bahrain and open up new cooperation horizons, especially at the economic and trade ones.
HRH Premier’s Economic Advisor also held a meeting with the Malaysian Prime Minister Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak and reviewed with him the ways of enhancing the solid Bahraini-Malaysian ties at all levels.
The Malaysian Prime Minister requested Abdulla Hassan Seif to convey his greetings to HRH Premier, hailing the tremendous efforts made by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman to enhance bilateral relations and open up new horizons of constructive cooperation.
Ways of bolstering the outstanding Bahraini-Lebanese ties were also discussed during HRH Premier’s Advisor’s meeting with the Former Lebanese Premier Fuad Al-Sanyoura.
During the meeting, both sides called for the need to consolidate joint Arab action, especially in the economic and commercial fields.
Fuad Al-Sanyoura praised the steadily-growing solid fraternal Bahraini-Lebanese ties of cooperation strengthened thanks to the directives of their leaderships, wishing Bahrain further progress, Prosperity and stability.
WIFE is being attended by the Kazakh President Noor Sultan Nazarbayev, discusses expanding halal food industries, Islamic banking services, future of alternative energy, supporting small and medium businesses, introducing new technology and promoting economic and social projects.
