The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa paid an inspection visit to one of BDF’s units in Manama where he was received by senior BDF officers.
During the visit, Shaikh Khalifa asserted that the Armed Forces will carry on their duties of defending the nation, along with their colleagues from the Public security, National Guard and National Security Agency in order to protect the kingdom’s development achievements, ensure the security of citizens and residents and secure a suitable atmosphere for boosting national economy and deter any threats targeting the cherished nation.
He also extolled the security officers’ competence, bravery, dedication, high morale, patriotism and constant keenness to carry out their sacred national duty, as outlined by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief also said that after the lifting of State of National Safety, Public Security officers and their National Guard counterparts will be in charge of maintain security and order, stressing that all the necessary procedures aiming to protect the kingdom’s sovereignty, security and stability will continue.
Shaikh Khalifa expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all security personnel and those of the Peninsula Shield forces for the tremendous efforts they have exerted in order to restore normality in the kingdom and ensure security for all citizens and residents, confirming that BDF will be ready to carry out any mission if need be.
He also paid tribute to the loyal citizens for their support and cooperation with the security forces.
Inspector General Major General Abdulla Hassan Al Nuaimi was also present.
