Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza hailed cooperation between the energy sector in Bahrain and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with regard to setting up a centre for energy planning and conservation in the Kingdom.
The Minister, according to the BNA, met with UNDP Deputy Resident Representative Firas Ghrayba and Prof Ibrahim Abdul Jalil, who is in charge of preparing the study.
They discussed implementation of schemes to conserve energy and feasibility of establishing the center as well as ongoing preparations for the workshop which will be co-organized by the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) and UNDP this month.
Ghrayba thanked Dr. Mirza for his support and personal follow-up of the project lauding cooperation which has achieved tangible results.
