His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Law 10 for this year endorsing the today additional protocol of Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) agreement signed between kingdom and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in December 31, 2010.
In another Law, HM King Hamad approved the kingdom’s access to the Cape Town, 2001 Mobile Equipment Convention and its Aircraft Protocol.
In the third Law, HM the King endorsed the Seventh Additional Protocol to the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), general regulations of the UPU, the Universal Postal Convention and the Postal Payment Services Agreement approved during the 23rd UPU Congress in Bucharest on 5 October 2004.
In Law 13, HM King Hamad ratified the Arab Convention for regulating the Public Transport between and across the League of Arab States signed by Bahrain in Cairo 2006.
In Law 14, HM King Hamad transferred the “land survey” duties of the Housing Minister to the Head of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB). Therefore, the expression “Housing Minister” will be changed by “Head of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau” wherever it occurs in a law related to land survey.
