His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received at Al-Rawdha Palace residents from Riffa region as part of Royal keenness to reach out to all areas of Bahrain.
HM the King’s Personal representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa attended the audience. He paid tribute to citizens saying that is doing well thanks to its people and society. “There is no reason to fear for Bahrain as long as it firmly believes in its traditions and values”, he said, reaffirming strong resolved to move forward for the sake of all people.
He vowed that all steps would be made through consensus, reiterating the importance of sticking to religious precepts, deep-rooted traditions and the National Action Charter.
He also paid tribute to Riffa people for their allegiance. Describing the situation prevailing in Bahrain as being good, he said issues are being addressed with wisdom, steadfastness and consultation.
He stressed the importance for Bahrain to preserve its Arab and Islamic identity, preserve its civilizational rich heritage while keeping abreast of all global strides.
“The world has become a small villages owing to cutting edge telecommunications. People interact all over the world in seconds”, he said, describing Bahrain as being a cradle of civilization in this region.
He hailed Bahrainis being well-travelled since olden times. He also described the Kingdom of Bahrain as a peace-loving state, as it had never encroached on any country. Dr. Shaikh Rashid Al-Hajeri addressed HM King Hamad pledging unwavering allegiance to the wise leadership. He also lauded HM the King for reaching out to his people, setting a leadership model to emulate.
Dr Al-Hajeri credited HM the King’s wisdom and statesmanship, experience for ensuring Bahrain emerges from the recent unrest.
He also paid tribute to the BDF, the Interior Ministry, the National Guard and the National Security for averting the sedition and foiling the long-planned subversive plot. Dr Al-Hajeri backed HM King Hamad’s call to engage in a national dialogue, building on the reform project which promotes liberties, tolerance, the rule of the law and constitutional institutions.
