His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa asserted that the honourable national stances voiced by all segments of the Bahraini society will be recorded in the kingdom’s history in golden letters.
“Those stances will add a new chapter to the national memory laden with landmark achievements attained by this kind people whose good genuine qualities have remained the same throughout the kingdom’s long history,” he also said, noting that “those who gathered at Al Fateh are an extension to those who have made innumerable sacrifices for the sake of the kingdom’s prosperity and progress.”
Speaking as he received a number of officials and citizens, HRH Premier also said that all Bahrainis have learnt a lot from the regretful incidents that gripped the kingdom recently, adding that “he who has known his history and learnt from his present will necessarily ensure a brighter future.” HRH Premier also pointed out that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s comprehensive National Project has laid the foundation for a highly advanced institutional and legal framework, rarely found in many countries, expressing regret over the attempts made by some “ungrateful” sides to undermine the landmark achievements attained during HM King Hamad’s prosperous era. HRH Premier also praised the Bahraini citizens’ ambitions and skills, asserting that the government policies are focused on upgrading those qualities. After that, HRH Premier reviewed with those present the latest Arab and global developments, asserting that insecurity and instability prevailing in some Arab countries require unified Arab stances in order to promote the security and stability of this strategic region. He also called upon Arab leaders to join hands in order to be able to face challenges, adding that openness policies should be enhanced for the benefits of the Arab citizens. HRH Premier, however, warned of the negative side of openness which, he said, can be used by some ill-intentioned sides to transfer their malicious agendas.
