His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander attended the graduation of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa from the Joint US Marines University in Washington accompanied by his son Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Shaikh Nasser on his graduation with honours from this university that is considered one of the most renowned institutes with regards to leadership.
HRH wished his brother Shaikh Nasser continued success in his educational progress and a bright future in serving Bahrain and its people under the leadership of His Majesty the King. He also expressed his trust in the competence of Shaikh Nasser and in him becoming a good example for Bahraini youth that love their country and strive for the very best for it.
HRH Prince Salman also urged Bahraini youth to insist on studies to enable them to develop their country through themselves because youth are those who build nations and stand as the bright future. He said that Bahraini were able and highly competent that in turn help them in achieving their aspiration in addition to them being characterized with the spirit of national unity, brotherhood and unity under the leadership of His Majesty . HRH affirmed that the progress in the Kingdom of Bahrain would continue towards success and advancement.
Shaikh Nasser extended his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his continued support and encouragement to exert all efforts to continue studies. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to HRH Prince Salman for attending his graduation ceremony lauding the prominent role played by him in developing youth and supporting them in various fields to attain higher education.
Prior to the ceremony a reception was held by the university’s president that was attended by the Crown Prince and several royal family members.
The president welcomed the Crown Prince and congratulated Shaikh Nasser indicating in his speech the bilateral relations existing between the two countries that serve in maintaining security and stability in the region.
