Minister of Energy Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza praised Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Manager of the Bahrain National Gas Company (BANAGAS) during his visit to the Minister’s office at the NOGA headquarters on the occasion of BANAGAS winning ‘Excellence’ certificate in the field of health and safety from the British Safety Council.
“The certificate was granted by one of the world’s top organisations working in the area of development of health and safety standards at work sites and it confirmed the company’s full compliance with international safety standards applied in this area,” the Minister said.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the executive management and all BANAGAS employees to improve the health and safety conditions in the company. He congratulated the management and staff for the prestigious recognition in achieving the highest levels of safety.
Expressing his happiness over the great honour received by BANAGAS, Dr. Mirza pointed out that such a certificate strengthened the company’s position and confirmed its ongoing commitment to issues related to health and safety.
Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa thanked the Minister and expressed his appreciation to Dr. Mirza for his continuous and constant follow-up and encouragement for the company. He wished every success for the NOGA ambitious projects to develop the oil and gas sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
