The tourism sector in Bahrain is getting back to normal with a major surge in inbound tourism being witnessed by the Kingdom, thanks to the efforts of bringing the stability back to normal.
Assistant Under-secretary for Exits, Research and Follow up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residence (GDNPR) Brigadier Yussef Ahmed Al Gahtam said that about 146397 visitors had entered the kingdom between in one week from June 2nd and 9th.
The weekly statistics of GDNPR revealed that 115679 passengers entered via King Fahd Causeway from Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries, while 30507 entered the Kingdom through Bahrain International Airport and 211 through Khalifa Seaport.
