Tamkeen’s Trade Fairs have reached out to communities in Bahrain throughout the Governorates, with a great success as the businesses and end-users are reaping the benefits of the initiative aimed at stimulating the economic activity.
Tamkeen announced the opening of the third leg of its Bahrain Trade Fairs concept at the Northern Governorate which will take place at the AlShabab Club in Jidhafs just off Budaiya Highway.
The Northern Trade Fair was inaugurated by Dr. Essam Fakhro, the Chairman of BCCI and the Governor of the Northern Governorate, Jafar Hassan bin Rajab in the presence of other officials.
This is an important mile stone for Tamkeen and their partners as community based development for Bahrainis would remain a key to the success of their overall aim to empower Bahraini businesses and individuals.
So far the Capital and Muharraq Trade Fairs and now the Northern Trade Fair have been booked to capacity by Traders/Businesses Tamkeen will continue to support SME’s and especially smaller businesses and productive families to enhance the supply and demand in the market and encourage Traders/Businesses to reach the demands in their own communities.
The Bahrain Trade Fair concept also comes at a time when Traders/Businesses can reach out to shoppers and showcase their products in their respective communities before Ramadan and Eid. It also provides a good opportunity for business owners to exhibit and sell their products and services as well as reach new customers. At the same time, the Trade Fair is aimed to enhance the demand of the consumers and in developing new opportunities for the private sector.
Around 110 retail outlets are participating in Northern Trade Fair, which will offer everything from food and clothing to jewellery and perfume and from stationery and electronics to handicrafts and textiles. Tamkeen is inviting the public to come and enjoy as well as to tap into the variety of products displayed by businesses/vendors in the Northern Trade Fair.
As an added incentive, shoppers will be eligible for scores of sponsored prizes during the events for each of the Governorates. All visitors have to do is bring their shopping receipts to the designated booth at the Northern Trade Fair and exchange it with vouchers, every BD5 worth of shopping can be exchanged with a voucher for a chance to win valuable prizes from local sponsors include Gulf Air, Batelco, Al Hawaj Group, Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Bahrain Development Bank, Midway Supermarkets and Lost Paradise of Dilmun.
The Northern Governorate Fair will continue until the 21st of July 2011 at Al Shabab Club.
