Bahrain’s delegation led by the Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr. Hassan Fakhro and Minister of Labour Jameel Humaidan met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of Treasury for the Middle Eastern Affairs and N. Africa Andrew Boukol.
They also met several personalities from different institutions of American civil society Marina Ottaway from Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and Dr. Thomas Mattier from Middle East Policy Council and Dr. Christina Diwan from American University and Allen Keiswetter form Middle East Institute and Jonathan Guyer form New America Foundation.
Bahraini Delegation members continued their meetings with American Officials through meeting Military Legislative Assistant and Foreign relations Mr. Bradley Bowman for Senator Ayotte. They also met Senator Mark Warner, Tom Walls and Neeta Bidwai, Senior Policy Advisor.
The Bahraini delegation concluded their visit to the United States to meet Republican Senator of Missouri State Roy Blunt, where both discussed a number of Common issues.
It is worth mentioning that the Bahraini delegation has begun a visit to the United States of America in June 26, 2011 and met with several administration officials and member of senate and economic, trade, labour and intellectual activities and all meetings focused in ways to enhance horizon cooperation and strategic relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US.
