Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain (KFH-B) hosted a special ceremony at its headquarters in the Bahrain World Trade Center to honour 26 students who completed the memorization of the Holy Quran at the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs memorisation centers.
The purpose of the ceremony was to recognise and encourage young people to reach higher achievements through reading and studying the Holy Book of Islam and to present them with a cash prize for their accomplishments.
The event was hosted by Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO of KFH-B and Abdulla Al-Omari, Director of the Department of Religious Affairs from the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs. Also in attendance were both senior officials from the Bank and the Ministry. The ceremony was organised by the Bank’s Shari’a Department headed by Shaikh Isa Duwaishan.
“KFH-Bahrain is committed to enhancing the Kingdom’s cultural and religious activities by supporting community initiatives. Through honouring these promising students, we aim to reach out to the Islamic community and support the development of young Islamic scholars on their mission to memorise the Holy Book,” Alkhayyat added.
“This commendable initiative is in line with our core values that prioritizes people as one of its main pillars”, said Alkhayyat.
Abdulla Al-Omari expressed his sincere gratitude to KFH-Bahrain and in particular, to Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat for his continued support, contribution and encouragement.
