The General Director of the Central Governorate Police said that the control room had received a call from Sitra Health Centre at 9:15am on Wednesday about receiving a dead body of a 14-year-old boy.
He said that individuals who brought the boy didn’t provide any information about the incident or how the body was found; affirming that here was no reported police action against law-breakers in Sitra at the time the boy’s death was reported, except dispersing a small group of around 10 people at 1:15 am.
The same source added that the Public Prosecution went to the hospital soon after it was notified about the incident, asserting that investigation into the death is still underway to determine its cause.
The official urged also those who have more information about it to immediately contact the directorate in order help uncover the circumstances of the case and find the offenders as soon as possible.
