Bahraini Banker, and the CEO of BMI Bank Jamal Al-Hazeem has been appointed as the new Chairman of leading Kuwaiti company Al Taameer Real Estate Investment Company (Taameer Kuwait) at a Board meeting of the company held in Kuwait, replacing Abdulwahab Rashed Al-Haroun. Abdulwahab Al-Haroun was recently appointed as the New Minister for Planning and Development affairs, Kuwait. Jamal Al-Hazeem, a seasoned Banker with over 30 year experience, is the Chief Executive Officer of BMI Bank.
“Taameer- Kuwait, which was set up in 1978 with a mission to acquire, develop and manage hotels, resorts and health clubs within the MENA region, has today developed into a best-in-class company specializing in hotel management as well as franchise agreements for the Ramada brand which includes Ramada, Ramada Resorts and Suites and Ramada Encore. Taameer- Kuwait’s portfolio of 8 operational projects include 4 in Kuwait, 2 in Morocco and 1 each in Lebanon and Jordan,” Jamal Al-Hazeem, said.
