BMI Bank announced the appointment of Bahraini Sumaya Redha to the post of Head of Compliance. Sumaya, who joins BMI Bank from her previous position as Head of Compliance at Seera Investment Bank, will be responsible to review, plan and direct the Bank’s compliance and regulatory requirements in line with its commitment to ensure adherence to high levels of controls and transparency.

Prior to her role at Seera Investment Bank, Sumaya was a Manager Assistant Compliance Officer and Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) at BBK. Sumaya started her career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers before joining BNP Paribas Bahrain where she advanced to become the Bahrain Group MLRO. Sumaya, who was the first certified Bahraini Anti Money Laundering (AML) specialist (CAMS) is also a Financial Risk manager (FRM).
