An official at the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) called upon the media to be more careful while publishing any statistics in statements. The official urged for a cross-checking stats with the concerned authorities to avoid confusion as well as for the image of the national institutions.
The source was referring to an article published in a local newspaper with regard to the size of financial reserve, investment or the size of expenditure either in the Kingdom or region.
The source also affirmed the inaccuracy of these numbers could lead to an incorrect reading of current market situation for those referring to them.
