His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa sent two cables of congratulations to Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President and Royal Endurance Team Captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and SCYS First Deputy Chairman, Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation President and Al-Khalidia Team Captain Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa marking the outstanding achievement of the Royal Endurance team, represented by jockey Salman Isa Radhi who won the world endurance championship after finishing first in the 160-km race in France.
HM King Hamad hailed the outstanding sport performance, which enriches Bahrain’s string of landmark achievements in all sports.
He also lauded Bahraini riders for their determination to achieve this brilliant result and ensure Bahrain’s flag flies high in all sport arenas, particularly equestrian sports.
HM the King paid tribute to Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid for their keen interest to promote equestrian and endurance sports, citing particularly good preparation and planning to achieve such outstanding performances, wishing all success.
