Minister of Human Rights and Social Development and acting Minister of Health Dr. Fatima bint Mohammed al-Balouchi inaugurated the 2nd Women’s Products Expo: Galleria 2011 organized by Pro-Visions Events Company (Bahrain) at the Gulf Hotel’s Conference Center.
The minister during her tour inside the expo – which witnessed more than 6000 visitors from all age groups – emphasized the ministry’s keenness on supporting and encouraging youthful initiatives from both sexes in all fields and provision of all facilitation and potentials for participants in expos organized inside the Kingdom or abroad. Moreover, the ministry’s contribution in activation of family role in the Bahraini community through productive families scheme engaging all individuals in the community in the “Productive Home” project benefiting from local workforce transforming them into economically-viable enterprising businesspeople in order to contribute in raising individual and family standards and engaging them in expediting national development.
The minister praised the participants’ efforts and the remarkable readiness for creativity on the part of women who contributed their own products to the expo which serves a springboard for them on the road for successful enterprises. She encouraged them to continue their participation in such expos. The Minister expressed her gratitude and appreciation to all participants and the organizers of this expo which indicates the ministry’s support and encouragement to Bahraini families and Bahrain-made products that reflect the genuine spirit of the Bahraini people.
