The much-awaited Middle East Oil and Gas Show and Conference (MEOS), will be held 25–28 September 2011 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
Organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Arabian Exhibition Management (AEM), the event is the largest and best attended technical event of its kind in the region.
This year, the 17th edition of this outstanding event will offer unmatched features and robust programme including around 38 technical sessions, 114 presentations and posters discussing various upstream and midstream oil and gas topics including, but not limited to, stimulation and productivity enhancement, unconventional gas, EOR simulation and modelling, deep water drilling, reservoir management and modelling, reserves and economics, artificial lift, unconventional drilling technologies, and much more.
MEOS will also offer five panel sessions led by presidents, vice presidents, CEOs, deputy managing directors, and chairmen of key players in the industry such as ADCO, Baker Hughes, Exxon Al Khalij, GE Oil and Gas, KBR, Kuwait Oil Company, NPS Energy, Petroleum Development Oman, Shell, Weatherford International, and Worley Parsons.
The sessions will cover the future relation between IOCS, NOCS, and the service industry, how to avoid past mistakes, the value chain integration in mega projects, capacity and skills development, and how fast is technology being developed.
