The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud and a number of senior Saudi officials performed Eid Al-Fitr prayer with multitudes of worshippers in the Sacred Mosque in Holy Mecca this morning amidst serene and pious atmospheres.
The Holy Mosque’s imam and speech-maker Shaikh Saleh bin Hameed called upon all Muslims to resort to piety and to be closer to Allah by means of voluntarily offering the good deeds.
He also urged them to trust in Allah in order to surmount any crisis or calamities. He also pointed out the virtues of optimism and of clinging to hope in order to be able to enjoy abundant graces bestowed by Allah upon people.
Shaikh Saleh bin Hameed emphasized the importance of work and patience in the face of difficulties and urged the dissemination of decency, reform and forbearance amongst humankind and the shunning of pessimism.
