His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited Ramadan majlis of Al Mussallam family and exchanged greetings. He was accompanied by his son Shaikh Isa. He described a government official’s post as a permanent service for the nation to remain protected, coherent and united, hailing national achievements which were “attained with strenuous efforts”.
He stressed the need to accept others’ opinions and said disagreement doesn’t mean causing harm to the country. He urged everyone to stand united and reach consensus to continue with the development march and build on the achievements.
The Crown Prince then visited Al Mahmood family majlis. He said national consensus and rallying behind His Majesty are sources of confidence in and hope for the future, urging to renounce sectarian strife, confront hatred and establish safety and security for all citizens.
People’s awareness of the importance of the national economy is a guarantee for the march of progress to continue, he said. The Crown Prince described the National Dialogue as an ongoing process, calling on the people to protect the achievements in view of global economic challenges. He lauded the role of Dr Abdullatif Al Mahmood since the start of February incidents.
HRH Prince Salman also visited the majlis of MP Shaikh Adel Al Ma’awda in Busaiteen and stressed the importance of consensus and the need for people to listen to each other and adopt group work as a method in national dialogues.
The Crown Prince was accompanied by Economic Development Board chief executive Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalia, Crown Prince’s Court chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, his adviser Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and personal secretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa.
