Shaikh Isa bin Ali Khalifa has called upon individuals, in particularly youths, to use their potentials to serve their society and nation, stressing the need to promote the culture of voluntary work, a highly important human value, among Arab youngsters.
“The Shaikh Isa Voluntary Work Award, launched by the Arab Voluntary Work Union, in cooperation with the Good Word Society (GWS), will add value to the concept of voluntary work across the Arab World, “he said as he visited GWS headquarters.
Shaikh Isa also asserted that Bahraini youths, known for their patriotism and dedication in the service of their nation, will support national work initiatives such as the Shaikh Isa Voluntary Work Award.
During the visit, the GWS’ Board of Trustees selected Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa as Honorary President of the GWS in recognition of his constant support for GWS’ activities and landmark humanitarian and voluntary work contributions.
