With 20 days left for the polling of 18-seats for the Lower House of the Parliament, Ali Ahmed Ali Ahmed Al-Dirazi has been elected unopposed as MP from the Northern Governorate 3rd Constituency.
“Mohammed Kadhim Ali Mohammed Matrook Al-Dirazi and Taqi Abdul-Rasul Abdulnabi Al-Zeera were also in the fray vying for a parliamentary seat before they decided to opt out of the race, paving the way for Ali Ahmed Ali Ahmed Al-Dirazi to be elected unopposed”, Justice and Islamic Affairs and Endowment Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa said.
The minister, also head of the Elections High Advisory Committee, cited the article 15 of the law decree 15 for 2002 on the Shura Council and the Parliament to announce the victory of Ali Ahmed Ali Ahmed Al-Dirazi. He also cited the article 19 of the law decree 15 for 2002.
