The BDF Royal Special Forces conducted the military drill along with the Jordanian Army Special Forces.
It builds up on previous similar military exercises, conducted over the years as part of cooperation between both brotherly countries.
HM King Hamad was welcomed on arrival by BDF Commander in Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, BDF Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al-Khalifa, Peninsula Shield Joint Forces Commander Major-General Mutlaq bin Salim Al-Azema’a, Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Ali-Siraj, Jordanian Special Operations director, Jordanian Commandos Commander and other senior officials.
Jordanian Royal Special Force Commander delivered a speech giving a briefing about the execution of the multi-phased military live ammunition exercise according to plans.
HM the King welcomed the participation of Jordanian Army Special Forces alongside their BDF Counterparts.
He extended appreciation to King Abdulla II of Jordan, hailing his keenness to promote strong historic relations.
He also lauded the high standard of the military live ammunition exercise, paying tribute to all the participants for their fruitful efforts and outstanding competence, wishing them lasting success in assuming their patriotic duties fully.
