The King Hamad University Hospital’s commander Brigadier Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Attiyatulla Al Khalifa received the Dubai-based regional managing director of the International Joint Commission in the Middle East Dr. Ashraf Ismael.
Brigadier Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Attiyatulla Al Khalifa and the Hospital’s executive team welcomed Dr. Ashraf Ismael and his visit which aims at upgrading the standard of medical services in King Hamad University Hospital.
Brigadier Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Attiyatulla Al Khalifa, accompanied with Dr. Ashraf Ismael, carried out an inspection tour all over the Hospital and were informed about the Hospital’s workflow and the nature of its services. A concise briefing was made on the views and policies of King Hamad University Hospital. Brigadier Dr. Shaikh Salman expressed his appreciation to Dr. Ashraf Ismael for his visit to the Hospital, aspiring to obtain JCI certification to ensure safest environment for patients, staff and visitors which is an important step for the King Hamad University Hospital to reach the level of the hospitals in advanced countries which boost the Kingdom of Bahrain’s prestigious position in this area.
The director of the International Joint Commission in the Middle East praised the role undertaken by the executive team in King Hamad University Hospital in developing quality- and safety-oriented performance in the Hospital as this helps provide a safer environment for the provision of healthcare to patients and staff in compliance with international standards.
