Keeping in view the numerous incidents of acts of violence by protesters, cleaners have decided to go on strike to protest aggressions, threats and acts of sabotage targeting them in several areas across Bahrain.
Two cleaning companies have submitted a complaint to the Municipalities and Urban Affairs Ministry.
“The two firms have also requested an urgent meeting with the ministry to discuss measures,” Public Relations and Media Directorate of the concerned Ministry published by the Bahrain News Agency said.
The Ministry warned that the two companies would stop their services in several areas if its workers continue to be target of aggression, come under threat or suffer acts of sabotage.
The ministry announced that it would hold a meeting soon with both companies’ senior officials.
