His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, has expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the global companies which continued their operations in the Kingdom in spite of the regretful incidents that it went through recently.
Speaking as he received, at Al Riffa Palace, the Chief Executive Officer of American Express Middle East (AEME) William Keliehor, HRH Crown Prince took pride in the distinguished “success story” of American Express, noting that it has become one of the pillars of the Kingdom’s economy ever since it chose Bahrain as the centre of its regional operations, 34 years ago.
He also said that AEME’s employment of Bahrainis, exceeding 70 % of its staff, testifies to its confidence in the capabilities of the Bahraini human resources, stressing that investment in the Bahraini individual’s potentials is given top priority in the Kingdom.
HRH Crown Prince added that the Kingdom is looking forward to enhancing its cooperation and coordination with AEME, pledging that the needed support for the success of its operations in Bahrain will be provided.
On his part, William Keliehor reiterated William AEME’s commitment to its partnership with the kingdom where its regional office is located, affirming that AME’s services and operations in the Kingdom have grown steadily over the years thanks to Bahrain’s positive economic atmosphere.
Head of HRH Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij AlKhalifa and Advisor to HRH Crown Prince Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa attended the meeting.
