Dr Fatima Al Balushi with EDB Chief Executive Shaikh MohammedHuman Rights and Social Development and Acting Health Minister Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Balooshi held talks with the Economic Development Board Chief Executive Officer and Bahrain Development Bank Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa. She stressed keenness to cooperate with all development institutions that back micro, small and medium projects, hailing the role of Bahrain Development Bank in this regard.
The two sides discussed cooperation between Bahrain Development Bank and the Family Bank, which provides sharia-compliant micro loans to low-income people to launch economic projects.
They also agreed to step up cooperation to boost financial facilities, which are provided by the Family Bank for low-income people. BDB director general Nidhal Al-Aujan and Family Bank Chief Executive Officer Dr. Atef Al-Shabrawi attended.
