In line with the directives of the Cabinet regarding implementation of the HM King’s vision to reinstate all dismissed employees, the head of the special committee and the Minister of Labour Jameel Humaidan directed the concerned entities to restore all dismissed employees status.
The special committee responsible for consideration of issues pertaining to the demobilization of workers held meeting presided over by the Minister of Labor Jamil Mohammed bin Ali Humaidan attended by members of the committee.
The committee was formed in the light of the contents of the noble speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of the last ten days of Ramadan, in which His Majesty the King called for dissemination of the spirit of tolerance and fraternity in the kingdom and in which His Majesty the King pardoned those offended His Majesty the King as well the kingdom and its men.
The committee urged the concerned organizations to quickly address the issue of dismissed workers and called for their reinstatement so as to realize his best interest of the workers themselves, their families and the country.
The committee met to discuss mechanisms and procedures to ensure speedy implementation of the royal directives for reinstatement of suspended of suspended workers and to exert all possible efforts to overcome difficulties, impediments and avoid any delay in reinstating those whose dismissal is not legally justifiable.
The committee announced the criteria to be adopted in dealing with cases of dismissals either reinstating or relocating them or settling their end-of-service dues.
The committee urged all the concerned companies and institutions to quickly complete the procedures whilst taking into account the humanitarian aspects of the process and the aspirations and directives of the wise leadership.
