Schlumberger’s newly appointed President for Middle East, Khalid Mugharbel paid a visit to Bapco at Al Dar, Awali on the occasion of his appointment as the President of Schlumberger for the Middle East.
Upon arrival the visiting delegation was received by Bapco’s Chief Executive, Faisal Al-Mahroos, who congratulated him on the new appointment, wishing him success and good luck in his new post.
Al-Mahroos welcomed Bapco’s guest and conveyed to him greetings and best wishes of Minister of Energy, Chairman of National Oil and Gas Authority, Chairman of Bapco’s Board of Directors, Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza. At the meeting, the two sides reviewed Bapco’s current and future key projects.
The two sides also expressed hope towards enhancing mutual cooperation between Bapco and Schlumberger and achieving aspired common interests. For his part, Schlumberger’s new President thanked Al-Mahroos for the warm hospitality and expressed pride in visiting Bapco, and hailed its prominent global status, wishing its continued progress and prosperity.
Schlumberger provides technical services to Bapco since 1932 as a leading oil service corporation in the world. Present at the meeting were Schlumberger Manager-Bahrain, Doug Cameron and Bapco GM Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Geologist Anwar Khalaf.
