Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) demonstrated its continuous support for workers rights with the declaration of results of the Alba Labour Union Elections.
The candidates; Yasser Abdulla Ahmed Al Hujairi, Ahmed Janahi, Basem Kuwaitan, Abdulla Ali Abdulla, Ali Hussain Ghuloom, Abdulla Mahdi Hasan Al Marraj, Ali Ahmed Yousif, Ali Abul Hassan, Habib Jalil Dashti, Ahmed Khalifa Al Khuzaie, Abdulla Hamza, Ali Al Binali, Wadeea Isa Juma, Abbas A Rahim Mahmood, and Hassan Saleh Al Ansari were elected to the Alba Labour Union Board.
The newly elected Alba Labour Union Board will address workers’ grievance as well as represent workers concerns before management.
Around 2,553 employees, comprising 75 per cent of the workforce, cast their vote in the Alba Labour union elections.
The fifteen-member Alba Labour Union Board was elected for a three-year term. Amongst their various responsibilities, the Board will be addressing workers’ grievances as well as representing workers’ concerns before management.
