Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) was praised for its strong support to the Companies and Industrial Establishment Football League (CEFL) being played at the Alba Club grounds. This statement was made during a visit to Alba by a delegation from the League’s Executive Committee.
Alba’s Chief Executive, Laurent Schmitt received the Chairman of the Executive Committee, Mazen Al Umran and other members of the delegation at his office in Alba.
Also present at the meeting were Vice-Chairman Yousif Sultan, “Fixture Secretary” Mohd Ibrahim, Mohd Murtada and Aqeel A. Majeed from the CEFL’s public relations team.
“Alba’s support for the Companies and Industrial Establishment Football League stretches over three decades since the League’s inception in 1979. We were not only the founders but also the main sponsor for the first three years of the league matches. The support given to these matches is of historical significance to Alba, and it gives us great pride to see that the matches continue to be a key event in Bahrain’s sporting calendar,” Alba’s Chief Executive, Laurent Schmitt, said.
