The Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) confirmed its support for the Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) seminar on Resilience of Bahrain’s financial sector that will be held in Bahrain on 1st and 2nd November 2011 at the Gulf Hotel.
There will be twelve speakers including a key note address by Khalid Hamad, Executive Director, Banking Supervision, CBB and a roundtable discussion about the future of banking in Bahrain.

The seminar will focus on the way forward for Bahrain’s financial sector and will reaffirm Bahrain’s pre-eminent standing as the regional hub for banking and finance. The two-day event is expected to attract the enthusiastic participation of more than 300 delegates.

Affiliated to the Bahrain Accountants Association (BAA), the Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) was set up in 1998 and it has more than 500 registered members in Bahrain. Its parent organization, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the second largest accounting body in the world with a membership of more than 150,000. BCICAI has been conducting regular professional education programs for its members in Bahrain to keep them abreast of the latest economic and business developments around the world.
