The Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon has welcomed the decision to retry Bahraini doctors and nurses before the civil Court of Appeals.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Ban Ki-moon welcomed the Attorney General’s determination to have the cases of the 20 doctors and nurses, re-examined by civil courts.
He also underlined that he expected that appropriate legal procedures will be respected in all future procedures.
