Bapco signed a Natural Gas Supply Agreement (NGSA) with Bahrain Welding Wire Products Manufacturing Company (BWWP). The agreement is in line with strategies of National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) for promoting value added industrialization in Bahrain.
Post submitting all necessary data and information and passing the evaluation process at NOGA, BWWP has been approved as a new gas customer and is allocated with an average gas volume of 0.250 MMSCFD. The agreement will last for 10 years, and essential arrangements for gas supply piping works are in progress.
Bapco’s Chief Executive, Faisal Al-Mahroos expressed pride in signing the agreement with (BWWP), said that the agreement was in line with the directives of Minister of Energy, Chairman National Oil and Gas Authority NOGA, Chairman of Bapco’s Board, Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, aimed at fostering the process of industrialization in Bahrain and enhancing the industrial growth of the Kingdom.
(BWWP) is located at South Alba Industrial Area and operates in a primary aluminum based rods, wire and alloy ingot casting operation where it produces welding wire products.
