Zurich appointed on Wednesday said that it had appointed Fathalla Ebrahim in the role of General Manager for Zurich International Life in Bahrain.
Fathalla reports to Mark Hartigan CEO Global Life of the Middle East and Africa. Fathalla has 20 years of insurance experience across a range of technical, managerial and executive positions in direct and reinsurance roles with leading insurance and reinsurance companies in the region. In addition, Fathalla served as a board director of Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA) and has worked as a part-time lecturer at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). He holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA (with Distinction) from the University of Bahrain, and is completing the Advance Insurance Diploma (ACII) with Chartered Insurance Institute.
