Bahrain has been elected as member of the UNESCO International Bureau of Education (IBE) and Legal Committee.
Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander.
The elections have been held today –November4- on the sidelines of the Paris-based UNESCO’s General Conference.
“The global achievement under the wise leadership reflects Bahrain’s international reputation in all fields”, Dr. Nuaimi said.
The International Bureau of Education (IBE) is a global centre in the area of curriculum development and a field-oriented institute supporting UNESCO action aimed at attaining quality Education for All.
