Bahrain International Circuit, the home of motorsport in the Middle East, is gearing up to host the 3rd Bahrain International Motor Show opens on Thursday in Sakhir.
The event is being organized by Auto Collection, the pioneers behind the concept of the Motor Show in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The inaugural edition of the motoring extravaganza took place in May of 2007, when it attracted more than 5,000 spectators to what was a brand new, never-before-seen event in the kingdom. It was then followed by the second Motor show in April of 2009, when a massive crowd of over 16,000 visited the circuit to witness the best from the Motoring world.
The increase in visitors is hoped to continue this year, with a wide array of attractive new additions included in the Motor show line-up.
Speaking from their offices the Organizers, Auto Collection have confirmed that the inaugural ceremony of the Motor Show will take place on 2nd November under the patronage of Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamda Al Khalifa.

On Thursday 3rd November “Open Track” bikes and cars will be part of the magnificent event; it will give the opportunity to the motorsport fans to enjoy driving their cars and bikes on the legendary Formula one Track at the “Home Of Motorsport In The Middle East” advanced and safest track.
Among the highlights of the occasion will be the premiere of Slingshot Monster Truck in the Middle East, a live stunt show by world renowned performer Terry Grant come witness Terry’s Ultimate Car Control, along with a special event held by the Bahrain Drag Racing Club.
This year’s Motor Show has added a few extra elements to give the visitors a memorable experience. The 3rd Bahrain International Motor Show has dedicated a section of the pit garages to display Classic cars from around the Country. Currently, the organizers have confirmed the presence of Top 5 classic cars from around the World. One of the beauties worth mentioning is an Eleanor, the official car from the Nicolas Cage Movie Gone in 60 Seconds will be on display for all visitors to see, make sure you pay Eleanor a visit.
In addition the Organizers with the support of all the major dealerships from the Country, has gone out of their way to make test drives available at the F1 track on selected car models which will take place on Friday 4 November only.
A series of speakers will also be on hand at the show, including officials from Auto Collection, sponsors and the BIC Managerial team.
A total of 15,000 tickets have already been sold for the much anticipated event till date and thousands are expected to purchase tickets at the gates during the event.
Tickets for the third Bahrain International Motor Show are 5 BD a piece. Children under 10 years of age can enter free and will be available at the gates. Tickets can also be purchased from McDonalds, Zayt Zaytoon, Al Jazira Supermarket, Nonoo Exchange and Euphoria.
