The German Orthopaedic Hospital’s agency, bCentral won two international awards for its corporate film. The film was created and shot on-site by Bahraini agency bCentral WLL beating several others to prove that GOH has excelled on an altogether new platform, communication.
The two separate awards are a Platinum MarCom Award administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) in Arlington, Texas, USA and Best Film award in Medical category at INTERCOM Awards in Chicago.
“This is fantastic news as we are the first Bahraini agency to win these awards from MarCom and INTERCOM. I wish to thank our client, GOH, Professor Dr. Heinz Roettinger and Rahma Jaberi in particular for their faith in our vision to see this project through. We are a fairly new agency and this was our first corporate film and it has won international acclaim,” Karolline Immanuel, Managing Director of bCentral Bahrain, said.
“Using a creative process that integrated the client’s vision and our expertise helped deliver outstanding results. This film is a testament to the team’s efforts and vision for GOH as a brand. German Orthopaedic Hospital stands for excellence and quality, hence we especially flew in an extremely talented Director for this project from Bollywood, Vikram Gupta who has worked on feature films, international award winning short films and corporate TVC’s & AV’s,” Immanuel, added.
“It is an honour to receive this recognition, it shows that we strive for the best in all fields and these awards are an indicator that yet again we have hit the mark. We are proud of the media campaigns bCentral has created for us and these awards make us even more proud of our partnership with them,” Professor Dr. Heinz Roettinger said.
The MarCom Awards is a creative competition open to any individual or company. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design firms, production companies and freelancers from around the world. It is perhaps the largest of its kind in the world and there were over 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the 2011 competition.
The Chicago International Film Festival’s, International Communications Media Competition, INTERCOM was founded in 1964 and is one of the longest-running international competitions of its kind.
“This honorable work was expressly chosen from a long list of submissions, both domestic and international… congratulations on your exceptional work,” Alex Kopecky, Competitions Coordinator of INTERCOM said.
Through a clever narrative of one patients treatment at the hospital from his first step in to his last pain-free steps out, the film portrays all the advantages that German Orthopaedic Hospital has over its contemporaries. The film clearly illustrates all of the high points that GOH has to offer by seamlessly interspersing the journey of the patient and the interviews of the resident specialists.
