His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa paid a visit to BDF General Command.
He was accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, his personal Representative Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
He was received on arrival by BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, BDF Chief of Staff Major General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, National Security Agency Chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and senior officers from the BDF, Interior Ministry, National Guard and the National Security Agency.
HM the King gave his valuable directives thanking Bahrain armed forces for their efforts to defend the nation, deter seditions, protect the kingdom’s development march and ensure Bahrain’s security and stability.
He hailed strong cooperation among the BDF, Public Security and National Guard forces to perform their noble national duty competently and enthusiastically.
HM the King stressed the need to further boost military cooperation with the GCC and friendly countries extending his greetings to Bahrain armed forces.
BDF Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and Catering Major General Ahmed bin Yousef Al Ruwaie presented HM the King with a study conducted by a BDF committee on lessons drawn from the State of National Safety period.
