Some roads in the Kingdom of Bahrain saw perpetrated traffic jams and incidents this morning which resulted in physical injuries and property damage when a number of outlaws deliberately spilt considerable quantities of oil and threw metal chains on the roads in order to block the streets and thus hamper traffic flow.
The Ministry of Interior acted immediately by shutting down the affected streets and took the necessary action to clear the congestions, arrested a number of culprits and referred them to Public Prosecution.
Ministry of Interior’s spokesman Brigadier Tariq Al-Hassan said that a number of streets witnessed this morning acts of vandalism committed by a number of hooligans who deliberately inflicted physical injuries on citizens, residents and visitors and caused property damage and dumped large quantities of oil, metal chains, timber and garbage on the roads with the purpose of causing damage and life threatening hazards.
