Three saboteurs aged 25 to 30 years, have been arrested at Al-Sehla who allegedly tried to block Shaikh Salman Highway.
“Immediate legal action have been taken to refer them to the Public Prosecution to face charges”, Public Security Deputy Chief said.
Another group of saboteurs admitted blocking Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway, off Seef area, last Thursday, pouring oil and dumping pieces of wood.
“All security measures have been taken to deter such acts of sabotage which aim at derailing public order and disrupting citizens and expatriates’ interests”, Public Security Deputy Chief said, stressing the duty of security forces to enforce the law, put an end to violations and prevent thugs from harming citizens and expatriates and targeting economic facilities. He pointed out the crucial role of citizens and expatriates, urging them to keep in touch with policemen and report any violations and criminals. He also called on parents to look after their children and steer them away from obeying instigators, who incite them to break the law, putting their safety in danger and compromising their future.
