Standard Chartered Bank on Wednesday announced the appointment of Hassan Jarrar as its new Chief Executive Officer for Bahrain. Prior to his appointment, Hassan was the Head of Origination and Client Coverage, wholesale banking at Standard Chartered Bank’s UAE office.

Hassan, an experienced d Banker with over 27 years in the financial industry, joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2007. He has held a number of senior positions in the USA and the UAE including roles at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Mashreq Bank, Bank of America and Security Pacific Bank.
