Young Arab Leaders (YAL) Bahrain announced the launch of the annual Arab Leadership Forum (ALF) 2011, sponsored by Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Manara Developments, and Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO).
Gulf Hill & Knowlton and Memac Oglivy & Mather have also been named Communications and Creative partners respectively.
ALF 2011, which was postponed earlier this year, will be held from November 22-24.The three-day intensive forum aims to nurture the leadership potential among Bahrain’s youth and provide them with the necessary skills-training and mentoring to help them forge ahead as leaders in their careers.
The forum will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and 200 handpicked young Bahraini professionals will be selected to attend to learn, develop, share, connect and network with like-minded people from to discover how to become a mover and a shaker in their community, their region and the world.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) and Chairman of YAL Bahrain, said that ALF 2011 will help motivate, guide, and nurture leadership skills amongst Arab youth to help them unleash their potential, and will build on experience gained at the previous events held in 2009 and 2010.
“This year’s forum features some truly inspirational speakers who will challenge participants to embark on a path of personal and professional self-discovery, propelling them towards enhancing their leadership skills in both their careers and personal approach. We are also proud to have a number of local motivational speakers this year that will inspire our youth and demonstrate Bahrain’s very own success stories and local talent pool,” he added.
ALF 2011 will feature some of the region’s top leaders sharing their success stories in addition to international leadership trainers including Gaia Grant, best-selling author and leadership consultant; Manoj Sharma, corporate strategist; and international speaker Robert Panté.
Also in the speakers’ lineup is a number of leading local motivational speakers including Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Executive Director of inJAz Bahrain, leading nutritionist Alia Al Moayyed, and Mazin Khoury CEO of American Express.
