After serving 35 years at Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), Faisal Al Mahroos bade farewell to his colleagues and the company at a ceremony held at Bapco Club Awali on Thursday.
The event attended by over 200 employees, officers and well wishers of Al Mahroos who gave a detailed presentation showing the accomplishments, milestones and the company’s overall health during his period he served as CEO.
“I am leaving this company at the peak of my career and at a time when the company has had managed to navigate through the difficult times and challenges of very tough year of 2011,” Al Mahroos, said, adding that by all yardsticks the Company is in a good shape through achieving its production targets taking the profitability graph higher than the previous year.
Dispelling the claims of possible losses in 2011 due to the difficult period in February and March, he said that company had already achieved its target of 1.3 million barrels and no question of losses arises.
