An Indian father and his son on Thursday evening received critical injuries at Bahrain City Centre when a 10 year boy slipped off the fence of the first floor of the City Centre and received critical head injuries.
His father who also jumped to save his son’s life received fractures and later both were shifted to a hospital after having given first aid by the BCC staff.
According to statement issued by the Ministry of Health and posted on the Bahrain News Agency stated that an Asian father and son received injures after falling off from the 1st floor at a hypermarket. The father fractured his pelvis while the son suffered head injuries.
They had been rushed to the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) to undergo medical treatment.
In a statement issued today, the health ministry described the incident as mere an accident.
The management of the Bahrain City Centre (BCC) confirmed the incident in a statement to the 24X7 News Bahrain by the official spokesperson.
“We can confirm that an unexpected incident has occurred today night at Bahrain City Centre. At this stage, the matter remains under investigation with the relevant authorities and as such, we can’t comment further, except to reiterate that BCC continues to treat the safety of its customers with paramount importance,” the spokesperson of the BCC, added.
