Bapco held the 4th festival of the Bahraini Woman Day as part of the Kingdom’s celebrations of this day which recognises the valuable contributions of the Bahraini woman.
Bapco’s Deputy Chief Executive for Refining and Marketing, Gordon Smith gave a speech, on behalf of the Chief Executive, Faisal Al-Mahroos, in which he congratulated the female employees of Bapco and lauded their remarkable contributions in serving the Kingdom.
“Today, I would like to extend my good wishes to all female employees of Bapco and recognize their essential role in building the Kingdom,” he said.
“This festival is a culmination of the dedicated efforts towards fostering the gains of the Bahraini woman during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa the King of Bahrain with blessings of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, the Chairperson of Supreme Council for Women,” he added.
“Today’s festival is a historic event and a clear testimony of the role assumed by the Bahraini woman as a key partner in the process of national growth. I would like to seize this good opportunity to convey greetings of Minister of Energy, Chairman of National Oil and Gas Authority, and Chairman of Bapco’s Board, Dr. Abdul -hussain bin Ali Mirza, and his best wishes to all female of employees of Bapco, he concluded.
